Photo Contest

Shame on us, but when the peak paddling season starts, we get so busy here that it’s difficult to take photographs that showcase the beauty of the Pine and Manistee Rivers to share on our website. This season we’ve decided to do the next best thing by nudging you, our guests, to take pictures and to share them through our website. Hence, we’re pleased to announce our 1st annual Photo Contest.

We also decided it’d be fun to share some Pine River History with you and add some spice to your trip by tempting you to enter another contest, our 1st Annual How Well Do You Know The Pine Contest.

Rock Identification Challenge

Attention future or amateur geologists! Test your knowledge with our Rock ID Challenge. Eight out of ten correct answers plus $2 qualifies you to enter a drawing for a brand new Otter kayak!

Tree And Shrub Identification Challenge

How well do you know your trees and shrubs? We’ve marked off 20 species of trees around the PRPC campground and challenge you to identify them. Your completed tree and shrub identification card plus $2 is your entry into our drawing for a brand new Otter kayak! Check out the Tree and Shrub ID Challenge

Negative Trace

To show our love for the Pine River, we wanted to spread the ethic and message of Leave No Trace by establishing our 1st Annual Negative Trace/Positive Vibe Contest.

Photo Submissions

We want your permission to use your entry photo(s) on PRPC’s website or other advertising media. To comply with privacy laws, please note that any photos you submit to the Photo or Negative Trace contests with an identifiable person or persons must be accompanied by the model release form provided below.
