Frankfukrt is another top destination for the Miltner Pack. Hosting great restaurants and small town shops, with a beautiful beach a very short walk from downtown, Frankfurt is an awesome place to spend an evening on your Northern Michigan getaway.

Manistee is an easy 30 minute drive west of the PRPC campground, making it a favorite destination for the Miltner Pack during the summer. Manistee has several beautiful beaches making it an easy way to spend an entire day with the family, or just as easy to enjoy a short evening enjoying the sunset together.

The Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area is 3,450 acres of National Forest wilderness area. Hosting 10-miles of trails with access at 2 developed trailheads, the wilderness area should be a destination to any families finding themselves UpNorth for a weekend.

Voted 'Most Beautiful Place in America' on ABC's Good Morning America, The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore needs to be a part of your family's summer vacation. With 64 miles of beaches along Lake Michigan, 26 inland lakes, and more than 50,000 acres of land... there simply isn't enough time to begin to appreciate this special slice of Michigan.

Located North of us is Crystal Falls Mini Golf. Once again frequented by the Miltner Pack. Great mini golf, great ice cream, and just outside of the town of Frankfurt to the west. Frankfurt offers great dining and is home to Storm Cloud Brewery. Frankfort hosts another beautiful Lake Michigan beach perfect for evening sunsets or a mid day dip.

Northern Falls Mini Golf comes recommended by the Miltner Pack. As mini-golf aficionados, we have thoroughly enjoyed more than a few evenings at Northern Falls Mini Golf followed by a trip to A&W for some root beer floats and a sunset on one of Manistee's beautiful Lake Michigan beaches.

Located in Traverse City, Pirate's Cove Mini Golf is a great course that can easily be incorporated into a day trip to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and an evening of dining in Traverse.

Wolf Lake Resort can provide your family with the ATV's to make your summer vacation memorable. Lake County hosts over 300 miles of ORV and ATV trails making it a trail rider's paradise. You can ride your ATV's right from the Wolf Lake Resort making for an easy afternoon of riding for you and your party.

The Miltner Pack has personally dealt with Best Bear Lodge and would recommend dealing with them for your ATV/ORV rentals! With the ability to ride to the trails right from their place, this makes your afternoon as convenient as it will be fun! Lake County hosts hundreds of miles of ATV/ORV trails and should without a doubt be a part of your Up North vacation!
